Edward Murray
CEO & Co-Founder
"The best way to predict your future, is to create it"
Edward Murray studied computer science/ programming in Pretoria. He was introduced to CAD/GIS at age 20 in a rapidly growing industry.
Keeping up to date on cutting-edge technology, Edward was part of the R&D team introducing spatial connectivity to larger electrical projects.
In 2002 Edward co-founded his first company with Stanley du Toit. Their aligned vision created spatial content for clients to see the bigger picture. Edward furthered his studies in Project Management, subsequently managing international projects.
After Bentley Systems acquired their company, Edward started leading the Professional Services Team for Bentley SA with immediate global exposure. He became a senior project director for Bentley, and participated in and submitted several South African projects into the International arena for winning awards.
Realizing that their creative spirit was still strong, he and Stanley created iGlobe in 2010, lifting horizons and creating their passion for geospatial technology to another level by introducing drones to deliver better geospatial solutions.
Stanley du Toit
CTO & Co-Founder
"If it is not geospatially located, it doesn't exist"
Stanley du Toit completed his studies in Architecture at the Tshwane University of Technology in the early 1990s.
Passionate about information and solutions, in particular geographical solutions, made Geographical Information Systems a natural fit.
As part of his role at iGlobe, Stanley designs solutions in location-based mapping applications that focus on adding value and user-centricity to web-based maps by utilizing autonomous systems and data mining technologies.
Stanley spent the last 7 years on RND drone / autonomous technologies, equipping iGlobe and their clients with futuristic solutions and bringing extremely accurate data to the users' fingertips.
He directs multiple geospatial projects, which became the core management tools in sectors like mining, utilities, government, municipalities and private markets over the past 20 years.
